ACCOUNTING CLERK

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter bills, and credit card charges, scanning, and file documents.
  • Review vendor invoices against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Request, confirm, & track all vendor insurance requirements (current certificates are on file).
  • Prepare, track, and file vendor releases and waivers for progress billing with commercial construction jobs.
  • Maintaining all files, logs, and available system reports for the Accounting department within the company server.
  • AR/AP, contact & resolve past-due customer accounts.
  • Assist management as needed.
  • Answer phones as needed.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates for this Position should be able to demonstrate the following abilities to be considered a suitable applicant:

  • 2+ years of office administrative experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks desktop is preferred (Enterprise Solutions – Contractor preferably).
  • Broad understanding of Office Exchange 365 programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat desktop).
  • Experience with Commercial Construction Accounting is a plus.
  • Experience with prelims, releases, & progress billing is a plus.
  • Experience with purchase orders, insurance certificates, and projects is a plus.

AUTOMATIC DOOR TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY:
Our Automatic Door technicians are responsible for completing quality installation & preventative maintenance services while projecting a positive and professional attitude. Additionally, our technicians are expected to be dependable and punctual and ensure accurate completion of the job and all corresponding paperwork.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Servicing and installation of Commercial Doors (Automatic & Overhead).
  • Servicing and installation of Commercial Locks & Door Hardware.
  • Servicing and installation of Docks (Levelers, Seals, Bumpers, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Experience in commercial doors, automatic doors, hardware, docks & preventive maintenance programs
  • Experience in metalwork, electrical, welding, and general construction
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • AAADM certification is a plus.
  • A clean Driving Record is required to operate company fleet vehicles and be added to companies vehicle insurance policy.
  • Must have a positive & professional attitude.

DISPATCHER/ SCHEDULER

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates for this Position should be able to demonstrate the following abilities to be considered a suitable applicant:

  • Previous Dispatching experience and general knowledge of door hardware & general construction preferred.
  • Experience working with PCs and Programs, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • 2+ years of dispatch/scheduling experience is preferred.
  • CRM experience a plus/
  • General knowledge of automatic doors, commercial doors/hardware, overhead doors, and dock levelers is a plus.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Add new customers and vendors to our database.
  • Add new jobs as they’re received via phone, fax, email, or the internet.
  • Document daily events, logs, and paperwork.
  • Help promote a safe work area and a focus on safety for employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and appropriate filing systems.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and phone skills.
  • Demonstrate professional & friendly customer service.
  • Be dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
  • Perform general office duties and tasks (including filing incoming emails/faxes electronically).
  • Create purchase orders for field techs.
  • Order & track products/materials to the job site.

APPRENTICE (GLAZIER OR DOOR INSTALLERS)

Our apprentice Glaziers and Commercial Door Installers are responsible for installing, replacing, and removing commercial glass; Aluminum storefront frames & entrances, glass handrails & balustrades, curtain wall framing, and glass & mirror walls.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation & removal of commercial glass, storefronts, aluminum storefront frames & entrances, glass handrails & balustrades, electronic door hardware, curtain wall framing, and glass & mirror walls

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates for this Position should be able to demonstrate the following abilities to be considered a suitable applicant:

  • Must be organized, responsible, and highly reliable
  • Able to work independently or as a part of a team
  • Able to follow instructions during project assignments (written and verbal)
  • Glass installation/Construction field (Storefront and Tenant Improvement projects)
  • Strong familiarity with OSHA safety standards
  • Must understand blueprints, excellent with a tape measure & measurements
  • Previous experience installing commercial glass, Aluminum storefront frames & entrances, glass handrails & balustrades, curtain wall framing, and or glass & mirror walls is a plus.
